"Extra battery is hard to find in stock"
I’ve been trying to pick up an extra battery, but it seems like it’s always out of stock whenever I check. If you’re planning to get one, I’d suggest keeping an eye on availability and grabbing it quickly when it pops back up.

"Firmware update made me lose trust in it"
I ran the firmware update through the EcoFlow app it turned into a mess. The unit got stuck, the app kept saying the update failed, and after that it just wasn’t working right. Support took a while to get back to me, and when they did, it felt like they were just telling me to repeat the same steps over and over. I bought this thing for backup power, not to spend half my day troubleshooting a bad update. Now I’m kind of suspicious of doing any future updates because I don’t want to risk bricking it again

"Not as portable as I expected"
I bought this thinking it would be easy to move around, but for some reason it feels heavier and more awkward than I expected. Carrying it from the car to our campsite was kind of a pain. The handle itself is fine, but the whole thing just doesn’t feel that portable to me.

"Main unit is solid, accessories could be better"
The main unit itself works fine and I don’t really have any complaints there. To be fair, it does what it’s supposed to do. But the cable and the bag feel a bit cheap, especially for the price. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad purchase, just that the extras are average and could’ve been nicer

"Lost my trust quickly"
I really wanted this to work, but my microwave kept tripping it every time I tried to use it. After that happened a few times, I just couldn’t trust it with my appliances anymore. Frustrating and basically useless for me

"Didn’t last like I expected"
I bought an EcoFlow thinking it would be solid enough for regular use, but it didn’t hold up very well. After just a few months, the casing started to feel loose and one of the ports became unreliable, which was frustrating.
I wasn’t abusing it or anything, just using it for camping and the occasional short power outage. For what it costs, I expected better, and it also annoys me how the terms and support details seem to change when you actually need help. Disappointed overall and I wouldn’t buy another one.

"Got the wrong stuff in my order"
I ordered the River 2 bundle from ecoflow.com, and when the box showed up, it had the wrong cable and, this is the part that really annoyed me, no solar panel at all. I contacted support, but they kept asking me for photos, even after I’d already sent them twice. Then it took days just to get a straight answer. I know mistakes happen, sure, but my order was wrong and getting it fixed has been a hassle.

"Couldn’t power my heater like I expected"
I had it fully charged and was really hoping it would handle my heater, but it just wouldn’t run it. Frustrating, because the power output felt weaker than I expected

"Good quality, but a little pricey"
I bought it from EcoFlow and overall it works fine, no real complaints there. The quality feels good and there’s something about it that seems solid, but for the price I expected a bit more. Maybe a few better accessories included or just a little more value in the box. It’s not a bad product at all, I’m just not totally sure the price feels worth it.

"Louder Than Expected and Kind of Frustrating"
I knew it might make some noise, but it’s way too loud to use indoors comfortably. I tried to get used to it, but it just became annoying after a while. What made it worse was feeling like my concern wasn’t really being taken seriously, like I was just supposed to deal with it.

"Battery started degrading for some reason"
For some reason, the battery started losing capacity after just a few months. I wasn’t expecting it to degrade that quickly, so it’s been disappointing.

I tried setting this up and got stuck quickly. The wording makes it seem like it’s going to be a quick, easy process, but that was not my experience at all. The steps in the app didn’t match what I was seeing on my screen, the WiFi connection kept failing, and the manual barely helped. It felt misleading to call this an easy setup.

"Checkout was a total headache"
I was trying to buy a power station, but the whole checkout process was a mess. The page kept freezing, and then after I logged in, the price in my cart changed out of nowhere. My payment failed twice with no real explanation, so I contacted support, but I just kept getting transferred around instead of anyone actually helping. After about 30 minutes, I gave up. Frustrating experience for such a big site.

"Expansion battery compatibility is such a pain"
I bought an EcoFlow expansion battery thinking it would hook up to my unit with no issue, but nope. Turns out the compatibility stuff is way more confusing than it should be, and you don’t really figure it out until you’ve already spent time digging around. Now I’m dealing with the whole return process, which is just annoying. Definitely not a great experience.

"Wish I’d Known the Repair Would Take This Long"
I had to send my ecoflow unit in for repair, i really regret not looking into the service experience more before buying. The whole replacement process dragged on way longer than I expected, and while support did respond, most of the replies felt like copy-and-paste updates with no real timeline.
To be fair, they did replace the unit in the end, so I can’t give it the lowest rating. But I was without it for weeks and had to keep chasing for answers, which got old fast. For something at this price, I really wish the service had been a lot smoother.

"Tired of Dealing With the Same Warranty Hassle"

I reached out for warranty support, but the replies took way too long, and they kept asking me for the same information I had already sent. It just got tiring. "Charging takes ages"
This thing charges way too slowly. I’ll plug it in thinking it’ll be ready soon, then I come back and it’s barely moved. Maybe I’m just used to faster chargers, but yeah, it’s frustrating. Not really happy with it.

I ordered from ecoflow.com and ended up needing to send the item back. The whole return process was confusing, and I kept having to ask what the “next step” was. Responses were slow, and most of them felt like generic copy-and-paste replies.
Even after they received the item, the refund still took forever. I had to follow up again just to get any kind of update on what was happening. It was a really frustrating experience, and I definitely won’t be ordering “direct” from them again...

"Good unit, but yeah, it does get warm"
So far it’s been working fine and it does feel safe overall, but I’ll be honest, mine definitely got warmer than I expected when I was charging it and running stuff at the same time. Not like panic-level hot or anything, but enough that I noticed and thought, “Okay, that’s not ideal.” I keep it out in the open now instead of tucked away, which is a little annoying, but not a dealbreaker. Overall I’m still happy with it, just wish it stayed a bit cooler.
